A Great Ending of a Great Tournament – Superbet Chess Classic Romania last Round

The Superbet Chess Classic Romania is a 10-player Round-robin tournament, taking place from the 6th to the 15th of May in Bucharest, Romania.

It is part of the 2023 Grand Chess Tour with a total prize fund of $350,000.

Time control is 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game with a 30-second increment starting from move one.

I was in bed at 1am last night but didn't even manage to get 1 minutes sleep after tossing and turning all night. Been awake for about 40 hours now. 😱

(3/4) I missed one very likely obvious winning move.
Here I played Bg2? but I should just play Qh6!
For some reason I had missed ...Qxh6 Bxh6 ...Nxc3 a3! Which is game over.
In the end I lost πŸ˜” after Johann played excellently.
