Turkish GM Vahap Sanal (2585) knocks out Nodirbek Abdusattorov (2725) from the FIDE World Cup 2023

GM Vahap Sanal provided one of the biggest upsets of Round 2 of the FIDE World Cup 2023 when he knocked out GM Nodirbek Abdusattorov in the classical format itself. Sanal drew the first game and in the second one managed to beat the former World Rapid champion with the black pieces. In this interview Sanal talks about both his games and how he managed to beat such a formidable opponent.
