For the first time ever FIDE is organizing the Olympiad for People with Disabilities. It is a fantastic initiative where 116 players and players from 34 different countries have come together. A team consists of players who are specially abled and team India started off as the 10th seed. But the players are playing simply amazing chess and have reached second position. In round no.5 they will take on the top seeds Poland.
In this video IM Sagar Shah gives you an overview of team India’s performance. He also shows you two games of Kishan Gangolli, the Indian players who has scored 4.0/4.
