In another historical event, the Olympiad torch was handed over to Mr. Kiren Rijiju- Minister of Law and Justice of India by five-time world champion Grand Master Viswanathan Anand at the Red Fort, New Delhi. The torch was then handed over to the second Grand Master of India, Dibyendu Barua. The torch will now travel to other seventy-four cities and finally reach Chennai for the Olympiads.
