The Tumbleweed Variation is a dubious and (troll) opening that stems from the King’s Gambit. It is defined by: 1.e4 e5 2.f4 exf4 3.Kf2???! While this opening is arguably much worse than its sibling Bongcloud Attack, it is capable of producing entertainment (as seen in this game). Even after a nice miniature win, I’m not sure if I’ll be playing the Tumbleweed Variation any time soon.
