In the semifinals of the WR Chess Masters 2024, it was a clash between two of India’s top players – Arjun Erigaisi and Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa. Arjun won the first game, and the 2nd game ended in a draw – so Arjun went on to the Finals with an 1.5-0.5 win! Both of the games were incredibly complex, especially the second one where there was a moment of mutual blindness.
