An amazing training camp took place in Budapest, Hungary where 7 talented girls of Indian chess – Sarayu Velpula, IM Vantika Agrawal, WGM Savitha Shri, IM Tania Sachdev, FM Sahithi Varshini, WGM Priyanka Nutakka and WGM Rakshitta Ravi. They trained from the 4th of January to 17th of January – an intense 14 day camp for nearly 8 hours each day with the legendary Judit Polgar. This camp was sponsored by Pravaha Foundation and it showed their vision of supporting women’s chess of India. We speak to Judit as well as all the 7 participants about their experience of the training camp.
