GM Boris Savchenko (2489) is one of the familiar faces in major Indian open tournaments and just a few days ago he won the 2nd Indore International Grandmaster Chess Tournament. In the second round of the 1st Bangalore International Grandmasters Open, he faced the super-talented 2288-rated Srihari L. Srihari began to push from the beginning of the game and took advantage of Savchenko’s slow development and outplayed him.
Srihari shares his experience of winning the biggest game of his career and also breaks down the game.
