Pranav V. left India a few days ago with a rating of 2545. He played the Reykjavik Open, then the La Roda Open, followed by Menorca Open and finally the Formentera Open, which is still going on. The boy has played 36 games in the last 30 days and has gained a massive 67 Elo points moving to 2612. In the Sunway Formentera Open 2023 he has beaten Aravindh Chithambaram (2607) and Vladimir Fedoseev (2674). Pranav is now leading the tournament by half a point and is facing GM Leon Mendonca (another talented Indian youngster) in the final round.
