The reigning National Rapid and Blitz champion, GM Aravindh Chithambaram (2576) did not have the best start at the World Rapid 2022. The same can be said for his opponent, GM Pranav Venkatesh (2430). Both were at 50% score 4/8 when they faced each other in the ninth round. They faced only once in a Rated game at World Junior 2019 which was won by Aravindh. Can he repeat the same or will Pranav avenge his three year old defeat? Check out this interesting endgame.
