15-year-old chess prodigy and grandmaster Savva Vetokhin emerged as the champion of the 11th Sunway Sitges International Chess Festival 2024! After a nail-biting final tiebreak against Israel’s Ido Gorshtein, Savva clinched the victory with a score of 1.5-0.5. Continuing the grand tradition of Sunway Sitges, the celebrations for the champion were marked by stunning fireworks.
