Akshit Kacha is rated just 1367 and has not played in tournaments for quite some time. His friends persuaded him to play at the 3rd Gujarat GM International 2022. He reluctantly agreed and when he realized he was playing an IM – 2400 rated Shahil Dey, he hardly had any hopes. Things also didn’t start so well and very soon Akshit slumped into a lost position. However, at a critical juncture, Shahil blundered. And with that blunder Akshit brought home the full point. How did this blunder happen?
