R. Vaishali has beaten almost all the top players in the world of women’s chess except one. The Women’s World Champion Ju Wenjun was left on her list! She hadn’t beaten the five-time World Champion in any format. All of this changed in the 8th round in Norway when Vaishali played a smashing attacking game to get the better of her much esteemed opponent! What a day for the youngster, and what a day for Indian chess!
