Sachi Jain has performed admirably at the World Juniors 2024. She is currently on 7.0/9 after a win in the 9th round against WGM Boleslava Krasteva. The leader of the tournament is Divya Deshmukh with 8.0/9, second place is Mariam Mkrtchian with 7.5/9 and the sole third place is with Sachi Jain. She will face Divya Deshmukh for the gold medal clash in the penultimate round. In this interview we speak with Sachi about her big win against the 2289 rated opponent and how she has instilled in her the approach to play good chess – not just aim for good results.
