The national championships under-11 were held in Haryana from the 29th of October to 6th of November 2022. In the open section a lot of strong players all across India took part. A total of 297 players with the top seed being as high rated as 2333. The winner of the tournament was 7th seeded Jval Patel from Ahmedabad. The young boy, studying in 6th grade, managed to put up a great show to remain unbeaten, score 10.0/11 and gain 104 points to win the title.
