Avrukh Grandmaster Repertoire Bundle

Avrukh Grandmaster Repertoire Bundle

Grandmaster Repertoire 17: The Classical Slav: The Classical Slav provides a sound and active chess opening repertoire for Black based on 1.d4 d5 2.c4 c6 3.Nf3 Nf6 4.Nc3 dxc4. White’s early deviations from move 3 onwards are also covered. Boris Avrukh has had the Slav in his repertoire throughout his career and has never lost a serious game with it

Beating 1.d4 Sidelines – Grandmaster Repertoire 11: Beating 1.d4 Sidelines provides a sound and active repertoire against virtually every non-standard opening line at White’s disposal after both 1.d4 d5 and 1.d4 Nf6

Grandmaster Repertoire 1a – The Catalan: This volume covers the position after the opening moves 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e6 3.g3, concentrating on the Catalan which arises after 3…d5, while also dealing with the Bogo-Indian with 3…Bb4+, and Benoni systems after 3…c5.

1.d4 The Queen’s Gambit: Volume 1B: Having covered the Catalan in the first installment, Volume 1B supplies a top-class repertoire for White with the Queen’s Gambit, covering defenses such as the Slav, Queen’s Gambit Accepted, Chigorin, Tarrasch and various others

1.d4 King’s Indian & Grünfeld: Volume 2A provides a world-class repertoire against the Grünfeld and King’s Indian, two of Black’s most popular and dynamic defences.

Grandmaster Repertoire 1.d4 – Dynamic Systems: Volume 2B completes the series by providing cutting-edge antidotes to tricky defences such as the Dutch, various Benoni set-ups, Benko and Budapest Gambits, and anything else not covered in volumes 1A, 1B & 2A. With innumerable updates and improvements to the author’s previous work, this book is essential reading for any ambitious 1.d4 player.

(4/4) On another note I could do with some tips on how to get a good sleep. It seems like I am a fully fledged insomniac. 😵‍💫
I was in bed at 1am last night but didn't even manage to get 1 minutes sleep after tossing and turning all night. Been awake for about 40 hours now. 😱

(3/4) I missed one very likely obvious winning move.
Here I played Bg2? but I should just play Qh6!
For some reason I had missed ...Qxh6 Bxh6 ...Nxc3 a3! Which is game over.
In the end I lost 😔 after Johann played excellently.
