13-year-old Mrittika Mallick (1666) became the second girl from Hooghly district to win West Bengal State Sub-Junior Girls. This was her first State championship triumph after securing two second place finishes in State Under-11 Girls for two consecutive years. Mrittika also talks about why winning the final round, even though a draw was enough to win the event, was important to her.
The audio of the interview is in Bangla, however English subtitle is added for everyone to understand it.
