Karthik Venkatraman beat Mitrabha Guha in the last round of the national championships 2024. With this he managed to score 9.0/11 and tie for the top spot. As he had the better tiebreak, he won it ahead of Surya Ganguly and Neelash Saha. In this interview he speaks about winning the title, qualifying for the world cup 2025, and people who helped him reach here. This is Karthik’s second national championship. The last one was in 2022. This time he went home richer by Rs.6,00,000.
