Harikrishna is one of the most unique GMs in Indian chess. He has managed to cross 2770 Elo, which made him top 10 in the world. He shifted to Europe at a very young age to make sure he could focus on chess. He married a Serbian chess player named Nadezda Stojanovic.
He has won most of the team tournaments in the world from a gold for India at Chess Olympiad, European Club Cup title with Novy Bor, Bundesliga champion, Polish Extraliga, Spanish Champion, Turkish League and much more – making him an amazing team player.
He also has been a second to World Champions Gukesh and Ju Wenjun – both current world champions. With so much of things that he has achieved, Hari is surely a gem of Indian chess. In this video we discuss all of this and much more!
