She is India’s 3rd female player to become a grandmaster. In 2023 she managed to not only become a GM, but also won the FIDE Grand Swiss and booked a spot in the Candidates. At the Candidates she won 5 games in a row and finished joint 2nd. And now at the Norway Chess she is leading in the event ahead of some of the best players in the world.
