Magnus Carlsen took on Hikaru Nakamura in the 3rd round of the Casablanca Chess Variant at the Morocco Chess Week 2024. The players were given a position, turns out to be one from the Karpov vs Kasparov, World Championship Matches 1985. Magnus did remember the game vaguely. They had to play from move no.11.
