Magnus Carlsen was not feeling well at the Paris edition of Freestyle Chess 2025. He finished joint first along with Nepo at the round robin rapid qualifiers and then he managed to beat Nodirbek in the quarters, Caruana in the semis and Nakamura in the finals.
