One of the most interesting side events of the 45th Chess Olympiad Budapest 2024 is the live exhibition of the FIDE’s 100 years of history. For the first time, FIDE has arranged an entire exhibition dedicated to the history of chess for the fans. Willy Iclicki, the Chair of the Historical Committee (HC), who played a crucial part in arranging the exhibition gives us a tour of the hall and also adds shares the stories related to the pieces of history.
